Why Give to PAERF?
-
PAERF, the charitable arm of the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association, funds educational and research endeavors related to the fields of Allergy and Immunology.
-
PAAA has a long-standing mission to promote, encourage and educate practitioners of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology.
-
PAERF funds travel reimbursements for fellows in training to attend the PAAA Annual Meeting. The funds are distributed to each of the five Allergy and Immunology training program in Pennsylvania through an annual nomination process.
-
PAERF allows the future leaders of our profession to share their work through poster presentations and to participate in the meeting.
-
PAERF provides research grants to support FIT as they learn the process of scientific inquiry.
Thank You to our 2024 PAERF Donors!

Mentoring Program
The PAAA, in conjunction with our Pennsylvania Allergy Education Research Fund (PAERF) Committee, is excited to announce an expansion of our long-standing Mentor-Mentee Program. This year, all in training/early career annual meeting attendees will be paired with a current active PAAA member.

Our mentorship program is geared to enhance the PAAA Annual Meeting experience for trainees and veteran practitioners alike and provide an opportunity to continue the relationship throughout the year.

All mentors and mentees who are registered for the PAAA Annual meeting will meet during the In-Training Networking Reception to be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 7:00 pm. This goal of this reception is to connect FITs and early career physicians with our esteemed faculty and seasoned leadership and foster a relationship of growth and development.

If you are unable to attend the PAAA Annual Meeting but would like to participate in the Mentoring Program, contact PAAA Staff at paaa@paallergy.org.
