​What is PAERF?​

The PAAA Education & Research Fund (PAERF), the charitable arm of the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association, funds educational and research endeavors related to the fields of Allergy and Immunology. PAAA has a long-standing mission to promote, encourage and educate practitioners of allergy, asthma and clinical immunology. 

 

PAERF funds travel reimbursements for fellows in training to attend the PAAA Annual Meeting. The funds are distributed to each of the five Allergy and Immunology training program in Pennsylvania through an annual nomination process. 

 

PAERF allows the future leaders of our profession to share their work through poster presentations and to participate in the meeting. 

 

PAERF provides research grants to support FIT as they learn the process of scientific inquiry.
